Terms and conditions BMW Enduro Camp

 

 

As a legal organizer of tourism, MotoXplorers Lda, the owner of BMW Enduro Camp Portugal, operates in accordance with European Union law guaranteeing the protection of people using tourist services. Check our certifications in Turismo de Portugal (Portuguese Tourist Agency): Travel Operator (Tourism Organizer) RNAVT 3631 - Training, andTours RNAAT 224/2011 -129/2010 IMTT - Vehicle rental

Reservation process:

 

Registration: Your registration reserves you a place on the Tour, no payment will be required in this 1st stage. The number of persons on the Tour is limited, so reservations are made by order of entry.

 

Payment Conditions

 

Payment Methods: BMW Enduro Camp accepts online secure server payments by credit cards VISA, MasterCard and national and international bank transfer.

After booking, you will receive a confirmation with a registration fee invoice of EUR 1000. This must be paid within 7 days.

The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the trip. If you book 60-30 days before the trip, the total amount must be paid within 7 days from receiving the confirmation.

Payment Delay: After being notified to make a payment, if payment is not fulfilled, BMW Enduro Camp ceases to secure your place and reserves the right to cancel your reservation.

Custom installments: We can accept a different payment calendar, please contact us to discuss a solution at your convenience.

 

Cancellations

 

If the customer is unable to travel to Portugal due to the Covid-19 pandemy (flights cancelled or not accepted without quarentine by the Portuguese Authorities) or if the customer would  be required a quarentine upon returning to his home country for having travelled to Portugal, Motoxplorers will re-schedule the Tour to a future edition without a re-scheduling fee. This has precedence over our customary cancellation rules bellow:

Cancellation of the Tour by BMW Enduro Camp: 

If we cancel the Tour all participants will be reimbursed with the full amount that they have paid so far.

 

Cancellation by the participant:

When canceling more than 60 days before the trip, the participant must pay the registration fee as a cancellation fee.

Cancellation 60-30 days before the trip: the customer must pay 50 % of the full amount of the Tour.

Cancellation less than 30 days before the trip: payment of the full amount, no refund.

BMW Enduro Camp can cancel the Tour up to 60 days before the date in case of an insufficient number of participants. In this case, the customer will be immediately notified and your payments will be fully refunded, which constitutes full settlement.

 

BMW Enduro Camp reserves the right to cancel or stop a Tour when for any reason the safety or comfort of the participants are not guaranteed in the Tour route, including force majeure as riots, floods, earthquakes, etc.

 

We recommend hiring travel insurance that covers the costs of a possible cancellation of the Tour.

 

Motorcycle hire in BMW Enduro Camp

 

In all Tours that include motorcycle rent, it is necessary to conduct a rental contract for the use of the motorcycle. This contract is with MotoXplorers Lda and it is absolutely necessary for the pilot to be legally authorized to drive the vehicle in which the Tour is done. The rental price is already included in the value of the Tour and there is no need for any further payment.

It is, however, necessary to have a compulsory excess deposit or deductibles, to celebrate de rental agreement.

Compulsory excess deposit or deductibles: The compulsory excess deposit or deductibles, is a locked value in the corresponding to credit card deposit to lease the motorcycles, this will be returned at the end of the lease and the customer is not liable to pay any fees for using the card. Deductibles for all motorcycle models available in the BMW Enduro Camp Portugal is 1500€.

Motorcycle use limits: The motorcycles included in the Tour package are limited to travel only in the scope and course of the Tour. Not included and will not be permitted the use of the motorcycle outside the described route or private uses on rest days and/or at the end of the daily stages.

Spare Motorcycle: The spare motorcycle will be used free of charge if there is a mechanical breakdown. During the Tour, the BMW Enduro Camp is not obliged to replace a damaged motorcycle by a fall or accident.

Safety: personal and group safety is a priority for BMW Enduro Camp. The use of the motorcycle in a reckless manner and disregarding the rules of transit or of the Tour will not be tolerated and creates an immediate suspension of the pilot, with the motorcycle locked.

 

Inclusions and Exclusions 

 

Included: All accommodation with breakfast, all dinners and all lunches in the program, use of Spa circuit, BMW motorcycle rental (if booked), motorcycle guide and support vehicle.

If traveling alone, but want to share a room, BMW Enduro Camp will try to find you a roommate who is in the same situation.

If BMW Enduro Camp is unable to find a roommate, you shall be charged extra for a single room.

Not included: Not included in the BMW Enduro Camp; flights, drinks and personal expenses of any kind.

 

Insurance

 

Liability insurance: liability insurance (third party) is included, for the use of the motorcycle.

Damage and Theft Insurance: An insurance regarding damage and theft of the motorcycle is included for higher values than the damage excess charge of maximum EUR 1500. If the motorcycle is damaged and requires repair, there is a vehicle damage excess charge of maximum EUR 1500.

Minor scratches or scuffs caused by falling over or dropping the bike do not be charged on the participant.

The damage that results on overall loss of the motorcycle, involves the payment of the full deductibles 1500€.

Travel insurance: To participate in BMW Enduro Camp it is required by each participant to hire travel insurance in your country of residence that does not exclude the motorcycle as means of transport and to ensure medical and health care with repatriation to their country of residence in case of emergency.

Rules during the Tour:

In the initial briefing, basic rules for safe group riding shall be communicated to the group.

Failure to follow these rules and any indications given by BMW Enduro Camp staff members, that compromise individual safety or any other member of the group, results in immediate suspension of the participant.

These are general rules in the BMW Enduro Camp:

• Do not exceed the Tour Guide

• Do not leave the road, so as to maintain insight of the support vehicle

• Respect traffic rules and local speed limits.

• Do not consume alcoholic beverages during the Tour stages

• Comply with the schedule established in the daily briefing

• Respect the instructions and decisions of the Tour Guide and Instructors

 

Changes to the Tour calendar

 

The Tours operate seasonally to try to ensure the best weather conditions. However climatic or road conditions may dictate changes to the Tour itinerary, which shall be adjusted with the use of alternative roads and/or hotels.

Required Documentation

 

Valid passport: You must have a valid passport or European ID to participate in the BMW Enduro Camp.

International drivers license: Mandatory for all non-european riders.

Credit Card: Required for conducting insurance mandatory excess deposit or deductibles, concerning the rental agreement of the motorcycle that is used on the Tour. We require VISA or MasterCard; American Express is not accepted.

Travel Visa: The application for visas is the responsibility of each participant; consult BMW Enduro Camp to find out the specific requirements for your nationality.

 

Travel Insurance Policy

 

Each participant must purchase travel insurance in their country of residence that does not exclude the motorcycle as means of transport and to ensure health care with repatriation to their country of residence in case of accident or medical emergency. This insurance must be valid in all countries where the Tour takes place. A copy of your insurance policy must be handed to the Tour Guide at the initial briefing.

 

Photo and Video Equipment:

The photos and videos produced by BMW Enduro Camp during the Tour are the property of MotoXplorers. Copyright is held by MotoXplorers. MotoXplorers and Enduro Camp are authorized to use all this material for advertising and marketing purposes, including images which individual members of the Tours can be recognized, and the member is not entitled to make a claim against MotoXplorers or BMW Enduro Camp for the use of this material.

 

Statement of responsibility

 

Riding a motorcycle is an activity that has a high risk, at the beginning of BMW Enduro Camp each participant will be asked to complete and sign a liability statement which recognizes that BMW Enduro Camp, its owners, employees, and agents are not safety guardians of any of the customers and them, individually or collectively, could not be held responsible in any way for any occurrence related to accidents that may result in injury, death, or damage to the customer, your property, your family, heirs, or assigns.

This document includes a field where you should fill in the details of an emergency contact from your country of origin and, also the details and contacts of your travel insurance policy.

 

Guests and riders family

 

Guests and riders family supplement it's per person (+ 12 years old)

Guests supplement includes full board in hotel restaurants, drinks are not included

If you want to bring children under 12 years old please indicate that on the comments box in the booking form

Children under 16 years old are not allowed in the Spa Circuit, however, they can use one of the indoor pools

 

Acceptance of the General Terms & Conditions

 

Read carefully the conditions described above and clarify all of your doubts. Confirming your reservation by sending the booking confirmation form, also confirms the acceptance of these conditions.
